Stories to read...
Ahem.
I'm sure some of you have deleted them, so you'll have to go read them on Luba's archive.
And then send feedback.
Dyce-Elihara-Elidycyhara, etc.
A Homely Touch - An exceedingly wonderfully silly and well-written story that reminded me of Diana Wynn Jones, in style. Two parts are completed.
Shadow Boxing - A very serious look at something that is rarely mentioned in the media. Besides, it's well-written Jubes and Ange. AND it's good. And sad.
One Minute - Wow. Eek. ouch. This... Was like reading the very soul of Scott. And knowing that it was too late for him to be anything else than he already was. :/ Nice.
The Taste of Letting Go - Eeee!! I saw bits of this as it was written and ADORED it. Is LOVELY. And, as always with Dyce, well-written. :)
Wonder Goddess Sarah
Sounds of Silence/A Simple Answer - Oooh... Lovely, non-angsty TCPs... ;) Plus, on the good side, there's a very 'normal' feel--this could be any neighborhood. Except I'm thinking it's mine, since I know the kids across the street are that annoying. Although it's the kids two doors down who are crude and rude. I like Katy and Sandy a bunch, too. More. ;)
Girls Night Out - Oooooooooh. All of you reading this, do not walk. RUN to read this story. It's a lovely, lovely little jem. Excellent characterisation. And it's partially a meta-fic, unless I miss my guess. ;)
Kielle
Hop, Skip, Jump - Whee! Spiral! *g* I loved the image of the ruined Otherworld. And Spiral dancing, dancing. And then spotting... um... And... um... Damn, I can't enthuse without spoilering. I loved this. It was, however, too short. More. ;)
Beverly McIntyre
The Rocks of Bahn - Woohoo! Mook! Hah! See, twin-dear? You do mook well. ;) *smirk* *ahem* This is the story of pirates in space amd sailing ships, and lost loves and regained enemies. And happines? And fun. And it needs a sequel. So write Bev feedback...
Pebblin
Not That You'd Have Noticed - Chee. Pebbs does a wonderful job of telling this all from Bobby's pov. Makes you sit inside his head and view the world from his eyes. And, then there's the... Other characters. ;) She keeps you guessing--or would if you didn't recognise the style in the words. And, yes, I did figure out who she was. Not telling, though.
Trisha Sebastian
Shadowlands: Smoke in the Afternoon - This is me laughing. The idea of, of... those two together is... I don't know if it's wrong, or if it just feels very wierd. Love it, though. More. ;)
Alicia McKenzie
Shadowlands - First, I'm going to sit here and praise this concept. It's niftykeen. And cool. and wierd.
Oasis - Oooh.... How did I love this fic, let me count the ways... One, great characterization. Two, great setting (Go, Shadowlands/Shiftworld!). Three, It had Kitty in it. ;) Although, honestly, it was just good story. And to think there's a purpose to all of this! Oooh, gives me chills.
You Said You Wanted a Revolution - Ouch. All I can say to this is that it's true that writing is cathartic in its own way. I know how this feels, though.
Mitai
Arid Night - Aha! I saw some of this when you started it. Had NO idea at the time what Shiftworld was... Now I do. I loved this, Mitai. And you say you're quitting... Uhuh. Right. More, please. (I looooved Scott).
DuAnn Cowart
Four Changes Ago - I don't read the Authority. I don't know the characters. But Duey does, and she makes them real. And devestates them, too. *grumble* And it's a good thing there's a sequel. I read this with baited breath, knowing you were going to do something horrible, but not sure what. The beach was a paradise. *chuckle* Simply lovely, Duey.
Timesprite
Love and Other Indoor Sports - Whee! Cable and Dom mooky and happy. ish. *chuckle* I loved this. Moremoremore.
ShaiPeriHawk
Now Everything Has Changed - niiice Gambit. Goodboy. Please are there more, soon?
Crossroads - You mainly know what I think of this. It's brilliant. And great fun. And everyone should read it, 'cause of that. Besides, it has Sabretooth in it.
