Peter Parker Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers

from Amanda Sichter

For those of you who haven't been reading (or can't remember their alphabet) that would mean I'm up to P in my list of feedback.

Pebbs: Once Haunted, Twice Freed was excellent and I feel more than a little pleased that I helped inspire something :). Damn, you people keep making me read Cable/Dom fic. Bad people! And I'm loving Flip Side - a very interesting take on the whole situation. Great Storm, too.

Poi Lass: Hasn't written anything in ages, she says, so I can't feedback. Has it occurred to you, Poi, that I haven't given feedback in *even longer*. Yeah, I'm slack, I admit it. Anyways, they're wonderful. I know I've mentioned a couple to you previously, but I love *deep breath* Changing Faces, Beginner's Luck, Start Spreading The News, You Did *What* In A Cave (laughed til I hurt actually), The Look & How To Get It, Not Here (magical use of language), Done With Mirrors, Hard Day At The Office, Written From Purgatory (more please!), Winter Where You Are, Burnt, Rain, A Night Of Mild Terror (And Some Nausea), The Just Put No Story, Thought Police and the Siryn story that's under the digest somewhere so I can't find the title. And she said there was nothing to feedback. Your writing is wonderful, milady, and I hope your muse comes along and gives you some more ideas soon, so I can do that little squeak I do when a Poi story pops in my mail-box.

queenB: Yes, queenB, I loved Undercloak. It was a fascinating, intelligent, incredibly well-written piece of fic that held my attention for every single word. A beautiful and very credible ending as well. And In The Mood was a very touching Angel/Psylocke piece with some exceptional writing curled up in a lovely story.

Raven Adams: Loved Bad Fan-Fiction - hilariously funny. And Darkness Surrounding is a really good piece. I hope you can keep that one up.

Rossi: I've already told you about Heroes, but there's also the Collective Mutants pieces (Australian mutants - yes, wonderful, wonderful things - and you spell right, too! Sorry, Americans, but I grew up with a u in colour). Writer's Cafe: AA Meeting tended to amuse She Who Angsts Shamelessly (ie me!), and after reading Taking The Rap I realise I'm really going to have to watch out for The Angst Squad. And last but not least the wonderful Hole In The River, which was not only wonderful Endless but also finally gave me the real words to the song (okay, so I've spent six or seven years singing 'there's a hole in the river, where my auntie lies'. I'm sad, alright - and it made sense at the time).

Ruby Roberts: Star Wars: The Fashion Menace. Jedi and Barbie?!!!? But somehow, you made it work. And you certainly made me laugh.

Sabre (in whichever incarnation you want): I love Julia de Santos. You know that. But I love all the other stuff you do in your Shockwave stories as well. Wonderfully well-written. And I wouldn't know Bloom County from a bar of soap, but Meadow-X made me laugh all the way through.

Samy Merchi: For some reason most of your stuff is in my digest posts, so I can't remember names and am running on memory. But I know you did an excellent story about Mystique and the BOEM and Pyro (god, I hope that was you or this is embarrassing) and, and another one. Oh damn, I'll just have to say Being There was wonderful because it's the only thing not under digest. Wonderfully done, funny and yet touching.

Syl Francis: Jason, I Hardly Knew Ye was fabulous. Ditto with Invasion! I can't wait to see how that pans out. Very well written young Titans.

Tired now. But I'm so wonderfully close to the end of the alphabet!

Amanda
