And Then There Was J
from Amanda Sichter
And on the (approximately) 15th day, the Queen of Angst didst discover that she achieved all As in her exams and she didst get a promotion at her place of work and Lo! she was so happy that her crown did grow some extra spiky bits and her black cloak went all shiny and she didst resolve to spread this good humour upon the land by writing feedback.
And it did start with a J
J Patrick Sahlstrom: The Field of The Last Battle - I don't know whether it was poetry or prose either. But it was very lovely (in a kind of grim way).
Skip a whole bunch of Jazzwulf stuff - have to send Kaylee that directly.
Jen X: I know Jen doesn't have Net access at the moment, but if anyone wants to pass nice words along to her in praise of Dancing, Suite, The Tragedy Game and Apples please tell her that I enjoyed them all very much.
JT: What Dreams Are Made Of: Wonderful story - and unfortunately far too much what the Remy/Rogue relationship is like at the moment.
Jupiter 2: Rhona - Constant, an excellent story. Dark and grim and just how I like them.
K Nice: I like a lot of your things - but Lost Lies is definitely my favourite. It's nice to see people in fan-fic world remember that Gambit's relationship with Storm is at least of equal importance as his relationship with Rogue.
Katherine Duncan (better known as Callista): The Sun - I've already told you I loved it, but why not just tell you again. More, one day, please.
Skip the Kaylee stuff - boy, that girl is prolific!
Kielle - I can't say any more than I've already said about X and X2. The lion, the virus, the Harley - weeping with laughter can be a very good thing. And I also loved Midnight Showing, Fifth Row Back.
sevenall: If anyone hasn't read Walking Through The Rooms In My Head - go and read it NOW! *pause* And now you're back, you'll have to agree that it is one of the most thought-provoking, intelligent and well-written fics ever. And then there's Grow Old Along With Me. Tina - the trees, the pattern of the trees. Thank you for making me splotch tears on my keyboard (though my keyboard is a little huffy).
Lady Seraph: Loved both of the Music stories. And Empathy and Through a Child's Eyes. But stop depressing me with Shantytown! Do you know how many of my poor forgotten characters must be there? Making me feel all neglectful *g*.
Lady Wyvern: The Simple Life - Agent Gyrich. Wow. Just wow. It really is that obscure character thing, isn't it? Somehow it's almost easier to make them real inside your head because you don't have to fight all the ridiculous ret-conning. Anyway, wonderful tale.
Leonardo: Living In The Real World: Amazing concept and very well written.
Luba Kmetyk: Now, Luba knows how much I love all of her stuff. There is a very good reason Luba won her Best Established Writer award. Now if you all go and say nice things to Luba maybe, just maybe, we'll get Part 4 of Skeletons In the Closet of Memory. Oh, and remember to lavish praise on her for being such a wonderful archivist, too. And, if you haven't, make sure you read Gehenna, Sheol & Siberia. Otherwise, you'll go on Santa's naughty list.
Lyssa: The Spoiler story and Call of a Lover. Both excellent DC stories. And Nightwing - sigh!
Lyssie Sinclair: The Ballad of Jean & Maddie - excellent filk.
There, I'm nearly halfway through the alphabet now. I'm going to go off and brood about the particularly evil and nasty story idea I had because I was so happy. I try - but it's just so hard to be nice!
