Everything Begins With E (and a D I missed the first time)

from Amanda Sichter

And Christmas came and there were many parties and much buying of presents and Lo! the Queen of Angst didst not have time to feedback - until she layeth down the wrapping paper and took up arms against Real Life and set down the feedback that starteth with E.

And one D

DuAnn Cowart: Duey, can you forgive me? There were too many Ds and I missed you and I humbly apologise. Particularly when Briny Deep was *so* good. All I can say is that I shall never recover from the image of Wade Wilson in a novelty sombrero.

Elizabeth K (now officially known, I believe, as Jaya Mitai, but damned if I aint sticking to my alphabet): Phantom of the Deoxyribonucleic Acid - a very interesting new character and a nice twist on Mr Sinister. Somehow I could almost imagine him falling in love . Happy Hanukah and Of Moons and Men were heart-wrenching but lovely.

Emily Snyder: Em-Spider - I love them all. Especially Fuzz and the Fly. You do have a lovely talent for the short, sweet idea.

Fionell Harper: I loved Dream a Little Dream. Beautifully twisted and left you so perfectly hanging to work out your own ending. Guess which one I picked? *small smile showing just a hint of fang*

Fred Garber: Loved Star Warts. There were several places in there where I laughed til I hurt and at least I know a bit more about Toad now.

Ian Foster: Head and Tails. Awesome story. Magical and special and I've read it many times now. That last line is a killer.

Indigo: Oh, Indy, I have so many of your stories sitting in my To Feedback file. You have a wonderful talent, for pathos and humour and plain old humanity. Crimes of the Heart was only the beginning. There are so many, of every genre. Damn it, I'm just going to list them - it's my only option. Thicker Than Water, Thinner Than Blood (did you ever write any more of this?), Moonlight & Dilemnas (ah, Babs is wonderful), Than To Fade Away (Indy does Pete!), Rose Coloured Glasses (lovely Scott), The Monsters & Mary Reilly (wuzza wuzza!), Interlude at a Train Station (beautiful & heart-wrenching), Morning Malaise (I laughed til I hurt), A Phase I'm Going Through (I don't know how you had the patience to write a sonnet), Midnight Non Compos Mentisymphony for Two (my personal favourite - I don't know why but it touched all kinds of chords in me), The Tannenbaum One Thousand (laughed and cried), Obligations (forever worth it if only for the line - not all the world hates and fears them) and last but not least Sadie Hawkins Day (which was just way cool).

Boy, I'm exhausted now. I guess I'll just have to work on J from tomorrow.

Amanda
